We are happy to wrap up another successful stop on the Access to Capital: Money to Mainstreet tour. Access to Capital was in Atlanta on August 14 with over 40 representatives from lending institutions of all types and sizes, 4 outstanding panels of expert business owners and lenders, as well as a community resource center showcasing Georgia’s best free and low cost services for small business owners.
Senator Johnny Isakson kicked off the all-day event with a remote speech. Other event highlights include: the crowdfunding panel—Georgia is one of only two states with unique laws that allow for intrastate crowdfunding; Jeff Stibel’s, CEO of D&B Credibility Corp., signing of his new book Breakpoint, and the almost 400 1:1 meetings between small business owners and lenders that took place!
Video footage of the panels will be posted shortly in case you missed one as well as pictures from the day.
We are so happy to have had successful events in Los Angeles, Chicago and now Atlanta and can’t wait to bring the same access to capital and small business resources to Seattle on November 12!
If you have any colleagues, friends or family in the Northwest region that can benefit from this event, please help us spread the word!
